If you are interested in purchasing professional photos, you can visit the ship’s photo gallery to take a look at your pictures. They are generally posted on the same day they are taken. At these galleries, you will find fold-out walls and tiered racks containing thousands of photos. Usually, they are grouped together with common themes. For example, all of the debarkation photos will be located in the same area. On some ships, you can use your cruise ship ID card to access your photos and you can even enhance your photos before purchasing them.

You are never obligated to purchase professional photos and the photos that have been taken are usually available for several days. The prices of the photos also vary according to their size, with most being 5x7 or 8x10. For shorter cruises, all of your photos will likely remain on display for the duration of the voyage. On longer cruises, earlier photos may not be available near the end of the cruise.
